Alisa Belova is an Associate of the Competition/Antitrust, Foreign Direct Investments, Economic Sanctions and Compliance practices at ALRUD law firm.

Alisa advises clients on antitrust and countersanctions regulation and participates in projects involving various aspects of companies’ compliance with competition law and countersanctions requirements. She also provides legal assistance in obtaining necessary regulatory approvals in connection with asset/share deals and corporate restructurings.

The specialization also includes advising on foreign sanctions imposed by the EU, the US, the UK and other foreign jurisdictions, including the practical consequences of the introduction of such restrictive measures, the application of export control rules, as well as conducting sanctions checks and developing recommendations to minimise the risks identified.

Alisa graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University, specialising in civil law, and has also obtained a master’s degree with honours from the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
