Biography
Recent work

Irina is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A Practice. Irina works on projects with both Russian and international companies supporting M&A transactions and establishing joint ventures across a range of industries, including Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, E-commerce, Real estate, Pharmaceuticals, and Healthcare.

Irina graduated from the Kutafin Moscow State Law University with a degree in Corporate Law, and holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Strategy and Finance from Sciences Po University (Paris, France).

A multinational company trading in commodities, metals and energy

on the acquisition of a 10% stake in Vostok Oil for more than US$7bn.

Russia’s largest oil company

on the sale of a 50% stake in the share capital of Meretoyakhaneftegaz, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, to LUKOIL (the transaction value was RUB 52bn) and on the establishment of a joint venture to develop a large oil and gas cluster in the Nadym-Pur-Taz region.

Mechel Group

on the sale of a 51% stake in three companies: Elgaugol, Elga-Road, and Mechel Trans Vostok, which are developing the largest coking coal deposits in Russia with reserves or 2.2bn tonnes for RUB 89bn.

in a transaction involving a merger with the NIKE retail chain (Inventive Retail Group).

in more than 10 debt financing transactions, and in a transaction involving the acquisition from Sistema of a 50% stake minus one share in New Investment Holding, a joint venture established for the further acquisition of the Nearmedic Group, which works in the pharmaceutical, biotechnologies, and medicine industries in Russia and Italy.

on several investment rounds in KazanExpress, a Kazan-based marketplace that specializes in express deliveries.

VimpelCom

on the establishment of a joint venture for the development and optimal use of a 5G communication network in Russia alongside other federal communications providers.

Groups of one of the largest Russian banks

on the acquisition of a 100% stake in Mirogroup Resources, a grain trader that is a leader on the grain, oilseeds, and legumes export market in Russia.

Sintez Petroleum in a transaction

on the establishment of a joint venture with a Russian oil and gas company to finance and develop the Lavna oilfield services terminal.

on the acquisition of a roughly 98.6% stake in AKHANGARANCEMENT, one of Uzbekistan’s largest cement manufacturers.
