Margarita Egiazarova Leads Webinar for “Labour Disputes” Journal

On October 20, 2025, a webinar titled “Employee-Initiated Termination: Why Companies Lose in Court – and How to Avoid It” was held by the Labour Disputes journal. The session was led by Margarita Egiazarova, PhD in Law, Partner and Head of the Labour Law Practice at ALRUD.

The webinar focused on evolving trends in the case law of Russia’s higher courts, as well as the legal risks employers face when employees resign on their own initiative. Margarita highlighted common mistakes that result in such resignations being challenged in court and shared practical recommendations on how to structure internal procedures and documentation to mitigate these risks.
