Maria suggests that foreign companies operating in Russia take LinkedIn block as “a wake-up call” and advises companies to pay attention to Russia’s legislation on data protection. Maria forecasts that negotiations will result in LinkedIn coming back in Russian market. The Roskomnadzor’s approach to other foreign companies will depend on the final outcome of the LinkedIn case.
