On November 29 the 6th edition of The Executive Remuneration Review was published. The edition is devoted to the legal aspects of calculation and payment of compensation to high-level executives and covers tax, labour and corporate issues. The Review serves as a guidance for different corporations considering the opportunities of opening branches and subsidiaries in other countries and striving to know more about the local rules governing the labour and administrative relations with staff.
Elena Novikova and Olga Pimanova, Of Counsels of ALRUD, prepared a chapter about Russia. The article prepared by ALRUD experts reveals the important aspects of the Russian law affecting the calculation and regulation of payment of remuneration to the high-level executives. In particular, the article describes the peculiarities of tax and labour law, requirements to the disclosure of information, the law on securities and other factors governing the business activity in Russia and affecting the labour relations.
