A study guide for “Competition Law in the Eurasian Economic Union”

In December 2018, a study guide entitled "Competition Law in the Eurasian Economic Union" was published by the international team of authors. The study guide was prepared by representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the EAEU member States, with contributions from professors and teachers of the National Research University at the Higher School of Economics, Moscow (NRU HSE), and members of the non-commercial partnership “Promotion of competition in CIS countriesassociation”. The experts of the ALRUD Competition/Antitrust Practice, who provided written contributions, included V.A. Rudomino, G.K. Zakharov, K.V. Tarkhova, R.S. Vedernikov, A.D. Azmukhanova, N.E. Filimonova, A.A. Kayukova, V.I. Alifirov.

The study guide is the first manual on the competitive law of the EEU. Its content covers regulation at the level of the EEU: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The manual aims at implementing the following objectives: (i) to increase the awareness of the participants of cross-border markets about the rules of competition in the EEU, (ii) promote favorable competitive environment and (iii) shape the market behavior, taking into account the general principles and rules of competition.

The publication is focused on students, postgraduates and professors of law schools and economic universities, representatives of the entrepreneurial community, and will be of interest to a wide range of readers and those who concern themselves with the theory and practice of antimonopoly regulation in the EEU.
