The Russian Wealth Advisors Forum, organized by the Adam Smith Conferences and Withers LLP, took place from 4th to 5th February 2015 in Zurich, Switzerland. At the Forum, leading Russian lawyers spoke about the recent changes of Russian tax regime, anti-offshore measures, regulation of CFC and other relevant topics of Russian legislation.
Over 150 delegates of highest calibre from 22 countries including Switzerland, UK, Cyprus, Malta, Luxembourg, Russia, Ukraine, the UAE and other have attended the Forum. This event is the premier opportunity for experts from all over the world to meet, share experience, develop business and learn from one another.
Vassily Rudomino, ALRUD Senior Partner, appealed to one of the main topics of the forum with his «ABC of Recent Changes in Russian Legislation» presentation. The expert presented a in-depth comprehensive analysis of the recent changes in Russian legislation in the field of anti-sanction measures, the Civil Code, court reforms.
The other key topics were the issues of the Family law and Private Client Practice, Succession planning, Data Protection, Corporate Structures, International Charities Structuring. Also the Case Studies "I am moving abroad" and "I am buying a house abroad - what do I need to know?” were reviewed.
