The VII international intellectual property forum Expopriority-15 was held in 22-24 April as part of the VIII International Forum “Intellectual property – XXI century”. The forum was held by the Trade and industry chamber of the RF and CJSC “Expocenter” supported by Russian society of inventors and innovators and Russian state academy of intellectual property.
Experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian society of inventors and innovators, industry-specific institutes and associations, business structures, regional trade and industry chambers and organizations supporting and developing innovations took part in the forum.
The Forum participants discussed a wide range of issues related to safeguarding and protection of intellectual property. The main topic of the Forum was “Safeguarding and protection of intellectual property in exhibition and congress activity”. Other key issues of the Forum were creating, development and commercialization of intellectual property, including development of a long-term state strategy in this area, and increasing the innovation sector of Russian economy.
A conference “Latest changes in intellectual property legislation in the RF” was held at the Forum, where Aleksander Lipkes, ALRUD Associate, made a presentation “Latest trends in court and administrative case law in the intellectual property area”.
