The sixth annual Legal Forum took place from 18 till 21 May 2016 in St.Petersburg, Russia. The event was conducted by Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. The VI SPBILF’s business program includes over 50 round-table discussions focusing on Private Law, Competition Protection, Litigation and Arbitration Practice, International Law.
Vassily Rudomino, ALRUD Senior Partner, took part as a speaker at the discussion “Maturing of a Law Firm – How to Grow as a Small Firm to an Institutionalized Structure”. The speakers of roundtable had the opportunity to share their experience and discuss the approach of international and local firms to defining and elaborating of business processes, consider pros and cons of the process oriented management systems.
Alexander Zharskiy, ALRUD Partner, was the speaker of the round table “Joint Ventures Development in Russia: New Opportunities”. Experts of Russian and foreign law firms and businessmen focused on the following topics: “transplantation” of foreign shareholders’ agreements into Russian legal framework, option agreements according to Russian law, bank participation in debtor capital as a means of debt restructuring, practical aspects of relation regulation among the partners of privately held companies.
