Alexander Zharskiy, ALRUD Partner, heading Corporate Practice, spoke on 3rd Annual IBA Corporate Governance Conference. The Conference was held on November 3-4 in Miami, USA. More than 100 experts from world leading law firms and international companies participated in the Conference. Experts discussed corporate governance issues of current importance, including US corporate governance rules and its application to non-US corporations, corporate governance issues for foreign subsidiaries, cyber security, etc.
Alexander Zharskiy presented during first session “Recent trends: controlling shareholders, interested financial advisors and exposure” on the topic of recent changes in top-management remuneration. Among the speakers were experts from Europe, USA and Latin America. They discussed shareholder activism in public companies, increasing transparency requirements for companies and board members, cultural and gender diversity on corporate boards, etc.
The conference allowed Corporate Practice experts to share their experience and acquire new knowledge to provide ALRUD clients with the best expertize and advice.
