Anastasia Petrova spoke at the International Conference arranged by Roskomnadzor

On the 9^th of November Anastasia Petrova, Associate of ALRUD Law Firm, spoke at the International Conference on Personal Data Protection arranged by Russian Data Protection Authority Roskomnadzor with the topic “The balance between the GDPR and Russian regulation in the sphere of personal data: harmonization of compliance with the applicable requirements”.

Anastasia discussed how the requirements of Russian personal data protection and information security laws should be taken into consideration in the process of preparation for implementation of the GDPR, and expressed her expert opinion on building the personal data protection system to the intent that both the GDPR and Russian legal requirements are fulfilled and not conflicted.
