On the 9th of November 2017 ALRUD hosted the workshop “Concept of beneficial ownership”. It was organized jointly by ALRUD Tax Practice and Cyprus Law Firm Horwath DSP Ltd.
The workshop covered practical aspects of the concept – one of the hottest topics of the year. The speakers presented the tax authorities approaches, judicial practice in the recent years, and actual methods of tax risk management. ALRUD experts described procedure for tax record creation and told about the available measures for protection of right to income.
Specialists from Horwath DSP Ltd. told how the tax authorities qualify the presence of a foreign corporation abroad, including in Cyprus, how to establish an office of the corporation in Cyprus, and also told about the hands-on experience in the field of application of Common Reporting Standard in Russia–Cyprus relations.
