Maria Ostashenko and Kira Egorova spoke at the legal forum "Rights and obligations of parties in the turnover of movable cultural property"

On October 23, Maria Ostashenko, ALRUD Partner, and Kira Egorova, ALRUD Private Clients Practice Counsel, took part in a legal forum, organized by the International Confederation of Antique and Art Dealers of Russia and CIS countries. This confederation is the biggest association of the most competent and the largest art galleries in Russia.

The Forum was devoted to problems of ownership and turnover of valuable art objects. Kira Egorova discussed in detail the topic of attribution of title to artworks, how to confirm the title and time of the ownership. Maria Ostashenko highlighted the key aspects of the authority of the original owner, when exercising their ownership rights.
