Anastasia Petrova, Senior Consultant of ALRUD, spoke at the Privacy Day conference, which was organized by the Digital Rights Center, in cooperation with the Digital Rights Laboratory.
In her speech, Anastasia disclosed issues of data protection while conducting corporate investigations, and told the audience how to find a balance of interests of the business and the rights of personal data owners, whilst complying with legal requirements.
Privacy Day is a first practical conference in Russia dedicated to data protection in the network. The Conference participants discussed regulation, cases, correct methods of working with personal data, and much more. Many leading Russian civil servants, businessmen and public figures, and specialists in the area of IT, law, and politics, took part in the Privacy Day conference.
