English publishing house Law Business Research, renowned for its well-known Getting the deal through and Who’s Who Legal editions, has prepared a thorough research on Russian competition law within the framework of another noted edition — Global Competition Review – «Russian Country Survey – GCR November 2008».

This research titled “Crime and punishment” gives comprehensive evaluation of the development and trends of the antitrust practice, the role of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and its head – Igor Artemiev, peculiarities of competition enforcement in Russia and a complete analysis of the market for competition law services, including comments given by partners of leading Russian law firms advising on antimonopoly issues.

The edition also contains interview with Igor Artemiev and rating of leading Russian law firms advising on antimonopoly issues. The rated law firms are divided into three categories: elite, highly recommended and recommended.

We are proud to announce that deep theoretical knowledge and wide area of experience in antimonopoly area allowed ALRUD to be rated as one of the three elite firms. It is noted that Vassily Rudomino, well-known expert in mergers and acquisitions (recommended, in particular, by Who’s Who of M&A Lawyers 2008), leads M&A practice largely focusing on the competition aspects of national and international mergers.
