The Legal 500, one of the most authorative English directories, published yearly, named ALRUD one of the two most "noticeable" firms on the market, basing its opinion on the independent research of the Russian legal market. It should be mentioned that Western publishers, conducting similar researches, were looking mostly at Western law firms that have local offices in Russia. The attitude towards Russian firms has recently started to change, and the best of them are ranged among the Western ones.
