For the fifth year in a row Law Firm ALRUD tops the annual ranking of financial and legal advisors for the Russian M&A market issued by Russian M&A Agency. ALRUD is the established leader in the category of the number of transactions with controlling interests it participated in as an advisor. In 2013 ALRUD advised in 25 deals (21 at the end of 2012). According to experts of the Agency analytical group as quoted in the “Mergers and Acquisitions”journal, “Russian company ALRUD shows magic with numbers – again”. Besides, ALRUD continues to improve its position in the terms of the total price of transactions; the year 2013 total amounted to USD 8.104 bln. (USD 3.947 bln 2012). The rating is based only on the deals with controlling interests or deals turning existing interest into controlling, priced at least at USD 5 mln., that were closed in 2013.
