ALRUD Law Firm has been shortlisted for the Global Competition Review Awards and has a chance to win a prize in the Regional Firm of the Year: Europe category. The nominations included law firms, which in 2020 achieved outstanding success and implemented the most interesting and complex projects, in the field of the antitrust law.
The most significant and large projects, on which ALRUD's Antitrust Practice has been working, are headed by the support to the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV with Peugeot SA, valued at $38 billion. Another deal concerned the representation of the interests of Danaher Corporation, in the acquisition of General Electric's biopharmaceutical business, for $21.4 billion. GCR Awards experts also highlighted the work of the ALRUD team in protecting the interests of Booking.com in the antitrust case, initiated by the FAS of Russia (Federal Antimonopoly Service).
This year, the Global Competition Review Awards will be contested for the eleventh time. Today, it is the most prestigious award, which is given to leading lawyers, law firms and economists, in the field of antitrust law. The Award also recognizes the most iconic and largest cases for 2020.
