ALRUD experts prepare article for Spear’s

ALRUD Counsel Kira Egorova and ALRUD Lawyer Maria Petrova, together with Charles Russell Speechlys Partner William Longrigg and Charles Russell Speechlys Senior Associate Elena Vasilyeva, have published an article titled 'English Divorce'. The article focuses on specific aspects of divorce proceedings with a Russian element in UK courts. Based on the example of divorces among high-net-worth individuals, the authors described the pitfalls that must be considered when resolving cross-border family disputes that involve Russian and English issues: the nuances of applicable law, the jurisdiction of courts as well as the recognition of foreign court decisions and their enforcement.
