On January 29 Anastasia Petrova, Of Counsel in ALRUD Data Protection Practice, co-chair of AmCham’s Compliance Committee, and Ruslana Karimova, Senior Associate in ALRUD Competition/Antitrust Practice, were speakers at an online event organized by AmCham’s Security Committee. In their presentation they explored the topic ****“Launching “hot lines”: legal aspects and compliance-oriented approaches”****.
The experts analyzed the following issues arising when launching “hot line” systems:
Documenting in accordance with the labour legislation;
Compliance with the personal data protection and privacy legislation;
Enabling carrying out investigations and imposing sanctions in accordance with the law;
Ensuring admissibility of evidence.
Based on a case study, Anastasia and Ruslana explained how a “hot line” system helped to minimize antimonopoly risks.
In conclusion, the speakers shared their experience in launching a “hot line” in ALRUD.
