Artificial Intelligence
ALRUD law firm has begun providing services and building its own expertise in addressing the legal issues regarding the introduction and use of artificial intelligence ("AI") technologies even before the rise of AI regulation globally. Despite Russia's currently modest legal regulation of AI, the use and implementation of software ("software") with AI is regulated under existing laws covering various areas, such as intellectual property protection, data protection, cybersecurity, commercial law, consumer protection law, labor law, banking and finance law, administrative law and business regulation. Given the spread of AI technologies and of international and Russian legal regulation specific to AI, ALRUD now considers it right and timely to identify AI as a separate industry within the firm.
For the AI industry, ALRUD has formed a team of experienced lawyers who advise on AI-related legal issues, are experts in various areas of the law and providing comprehensive solutions to our clients' challenges.
ALRUD is also participating in the development of Russian AI legislation , particularly through certain committees on AI legal regulation established by various NPOs. In addition, ALRUD is actively involved in projects to train and improve neural network models for a number of major Russian IT companies.
ADRUD independently tests and uses AI technologies to effectively address internal challenges and our client's issues. This has allowed us to gain a deep understanding of all AI processes, its potential uses, as well as the current challenges and risks that may arise when working with neural networks.
