Andrei has nearly 30 years of legal experience working on finance and derivatives transactions, including 26 years at the international law firm Linklaters, where he was a partner of the Capital Markets practice at its Moscow office for 16 years. After Linklaters left the Russian market in 2022, Andrei founded and served as the managing partner of the boutique law firm Neonika Legal.

Andrei advised major international and Russian banks and corporations on some of the most complex and innovative transactions ever closed in the Russian market. He represented clients in various types of bank financing, project bonds, pre-payment finance, structured bonds, repackaging transactions, Eurobonds, mortgage and financial lease securitisations, project finance and concession finance, equity finance transactions, IPOs, pre-IPOs, share buybacks, repo transactions involving securities and commodities, derivatives and financial regulation.

As a partner at Linklaters, Andrei Murygin was repeatedly recognized as the best lawyer in the Structured Finance category by Best Lawyers, a leading specialist in Capital Markets by Chambers Global, as well as in the fields of Equity Capital Markets and Capital Markets: Structured Finance and Securitization by IFLR1000.

He graduated with honours from the Law Faculty of Moscow State University.
