Before joining ALRUD, Elena was an advisor at the international law firm Linklaters, where she worked for over 20 years. After Linklaters left the Moscow market, she served as an advisor at the boutique law firm Neonika Legal.

She has extensive experience in financial and corporate transactions under Russian and English law, as well as antitrust regulation, including transaction structuring, financial regulation, obtaining regulatory approvals, concluding share purchase agreements, corporate and quasi-corporate agreements, options, share issues, other securities and structured instruments, escrow agreements, shareholder financing and other similar agreements. Over the past few years, Elena has been actively advising Russian and international clients on counter-sanctions legislation.

She graduated with honors from the Law Faculty of Moscow State University and the Linguistics Faculty of Moscow State Linguistic University.

She is a member of the Moscow Bar Association and that of England and Wales. She is also a member of the Association of Antitrust Experts.
