Boris has extensive experience of contractual work, resolving disputes, as well as building his experience in restructuring & insolvency matters. Boris is servicing our Clients from commodities markets, the automotive industry, transport, agriculture and manufacturers of industrial products.
Boris deals with complex, high-value, commercial contracts, such as supply contracts and agency agreements, distribution and franchising agreements. Also, he advises on import and export of goods and services, guides clients on the management of commercial risks of Russian companies and foreign companies in Russia. Often, he provides legal assistance to foreign clients setting up businesses in Russia.
As a part of his work for our Commercial Practice, Boris advises clients on various international trade law matters. He has especially extensive experience of representing foreign clients in anti-dumping investigations, in the Eurasian Economic Union.
Boris also provides legal support in disputes arising from commercial contracts in Russia and abroad, as well as managing projects on out-of-court debt restructuring and represents our Clients in bankruptcy cases.
Having vast experience of working on complex international contracts, Boris assists high-net-worth clients with sales and purchases of luxury items, investments and assets.
Boris graduated from Moscow International University with a specialization in International Law, then obtained his PhD. in Law from the Russian Foreign Trade Academy, in 2011.
Boris joined ALRUD in 2008.
Boris is a member of International Bar Association (IBA), Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) and International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), where he served as national representative of Russian legal community from 2016 to 2019. Boris is also a member of expert advisors of Cross-border Investment Committee of China Counsel for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
