Leading Russian law firm ALRUD is glad to announce the appointment of Sergey Petrachkov as an ALRUD partner. With effect from September 1, 2017 Sergey heads Dispute Resolution and Restructuring and Insolvency groups.
Sergey’s core specialisation is supporting on complex domestic and international disputes. He has a considerable experience in representing clients’ interests in state courts in business and corporate disputes, in insolvency proceedings. He successfully represented clients’ interests before the Supreme Arbitrazh Court and Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in a number of cases. Sergey also participates in the matters relating to international commercial arbitration.
Sergey joined ALRUD in 2009 as a trainee immediately after graduation from the Faculty of Law of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. In 2012 he got a degree of PhD in Law. In 2015-2016 Sergey was at secondment in London at law firm Slaughter and May, member of The Magic Circle.
Sergey is an advocate, a member of the Moscow City Advocates' Chamber and IBA.
