Vassily Rudomino spoke at IBA Law Firm Management Conference
Over 130 law firm heads from several jurisdictions attended the 11th Annual IBA Law Firm Management Conference held in Moscow on 1 December.
The participants discussed current issues of managing a legal service business. Partners and owners of law firms had an opportunity to share experience, keep up to date on current worldwide trends, and build new business contacts.
Senior Partner Vassily Rudomino, IBA Council Member, moderated plenary session “Are national law firms getting a bigger piece of a pie in the region?” In this session, managing partners of Russian and international law firms shared their vision of the market situation. The participants discussed what factors influence the market, whether it is true to say that Russian law firms have been able to expand their market presence in recent years, what the Russian market is going to be in several years, what we should expect in the near future, and what new challenges and risks may arise.
