Alexander's arrival strengthens the firm's practice and builds up the firm's capabilities in Russian financial services regulation.
Alexander has specialised in the financial services sector for more than 20 years. He has, throughout his career, represented lenders and borrowers in cross-border syndicated financings across a broad range of industry sectors, with a particular emphasis on structured trade and export finance. Alexander also brings with him a wealth of experience in advising both domestic and international clients on Russian financial services regulation.
Alexander's work has led to him being recognised by Chambers Global and Europe, Legal 500 and IFLR1000.
Prior to joining ALRUD, he headed the banking and finance practice at a major global law firm and before that was head of legal at one of the world's largest banks based in Moscow.
Alexander's vast experience with strong international and local connections greatly complements our existing service offering.
