Anastasia Petrova spoke at the Eurasian Data Protection Congress

The Eurasian Data Protection Congress was held from October 20 to 22, 2021. This is the first privacy event organized by different professional communities and associations across the globe.

Reports and discussions with experts from more than 15 countries were organized within the congress. The experts were lawyers, entrepreneurs, privacy specialists, IT specialists, business consultants, representatives of human rights organizations. Among the topics raised are the protection of personal data, their processing, storage and distribution, facial recognition technology, the right to privacy in a digital society.

Anastasia Petrova, Of Counsel in the Data Protection and Cybersecurity practice in ALRUD, made a presentation on the topic 'Trends and localization practices”.
